It’s a good strategy to consider if your lab is seeking accreditation through the AASHTO Accreditation Program or facing another upcoming assessment. Think of it as a check-up that can determine if your procedures or equipment are out of compliance. 

A typical audit includes an in-depth review of the lab quality manual, plus equipment and personnel records. I observe testing procedures to confirm that your methods comply with AASHTO standards. Upon completion of the examinations, which average one to two days, you’ll receive an audit report with a summary of our findings and any recommendations for improvements.
